Rock the Cause Campus helps you put your activity dollars toward an event that will educate your students about an important issue, inspire action, and spark change in your community. We partner with local and national nonprofits to create a positive, life-changing experience through the power of music and community. We make volunteering even more awesome by creating a positive, fun, and memorable experience that focuses on raising awareness about YOUR CAUSE under the guise of a rock show.
How does it work?
Step 1: Contact us 3 to 5 months before your event! We’re happy to answer any questions.
Step 2: Select a date and e-mail us to check the availability. If your date is not available, we’ll do our best to find a mutually agreeable date. A non-refundable deposit may be required to hold a specific date.
Step 3: Choose YOUR cause. Find out what students on your campus care about.
Option 2: Themed Concert, featuring RTC artists, benefiting a cause of school’s choice.
Step 5: ROCK YOUR CAUSE! Our staff and bands show up on your campus early the day of your event to help set-up, train volunteers, check in charities, and decorate! Then—we ROCK THE CAUSE together! Rock the Cause can provide:
• A multimedia-enriched Rock Concert • Staffing and volunteer training at the event • Poster design/targeted student marketing plans • Public Relations support • Guidance in choosing a charity or soliciting Volunteer Fair partners • Approved volunteer hours or internship program • Guest speakers (on nonprofit business, music history, or other topics) • National and emerging artists • Targeted student marketing • PR support • Supervision of student volunteers • Web and graphic design support • Event budget planning • And so much more!

“RTC has created an energy of service on our campus. Students were engaged with the non-profit midway which allowed hundreds of students to connect with non-profit organizations. The RTC staff is easy to work with and very passionate about what they do.”— Amy Lloyd, Leadership Training Coordinator, University of Wisconsin— River Falls
"I want to thank Rock the Cause for your awesome energy . You just rocked it when working with our students!" — Sarah Williamson, Intern Coordinator for McNally Smith School of Music.
