Afro World Records is an imprint of the storied nonprofit record label Rock the Cause Records, distributed by Sony. Afro World aspires to celebrate the rich history of culture in Afrocentric music & indigenous sounds from around the globe. It is our aspiration to give voice to the historically underrepresented voices in music & art by fostering the creative, culturally relevant expression by musicians and artists. We are dedicated to our mission to transform the world through fair & equitable relationships with the artist and their communities.
Afro World, a division of Rock the Cause intended to offer space to underrepresented artists around the globe. We have a long history of offering artist branding & music marketing, and distribution to support emerging talent, and we’re elated to offer a space reserved exclusively to underrepresented artists.
We also strive to be an innovative source for Afrocentric & Indigenous music in the Film, TV and commercial licensing industry. Our desire is to help Afrocentric & Inidgenous artists pioneer new, unchartered media forms and connect with fan communities around the globe.
